The joint admission matriculation board is a body responsible for conducting annual organized exam for o level students who are aspiring to be in the university or any higher institution. The joint admission matriculation board jamb commenced it examination on the 16th of April 2026 which is still in progress, but as it progresses the candidate who were opportunity to sit for their jamb examination in in the first and second batch of the examination and now here by advice to proceed in checking their result as it is now available for check.
After releasing the first batch of the 2026 jamb examination on the 18th of April, the second batch was promising to be out soon and just like it was promised it has been redeemed by the body JAMB.
This can be seen as a clear alignment to the promise JAMB made to Nigerians when they said that the 2026 JAMB will take another shape and it has indeed be implied and can be testified.
The second batch of the JAMB results is for the candidates who partook in the examination on the 17th and 18th of April 2026.
Some candidates are given complaints that they cannot find their results, it is advisable that any candidates whose results is yet to be released should be calm as their result are undergoing investigation and will be released in no time immediately the investigation is been concluded.
STEPS ON HOW TO CHECK 2026 JAMB RESULTS
Step 1 – Use the same phone number (SIM) you used for registration
· You must send the SMS from the identical mobile number that you used when you generated your profile code during JAMB registration.
· If you use a different SIM, the system will not recognise you and will not send your result.
Step 2 – Compose and send the SMS
· Open the messaging app on your phone.
· Type the keyword exactly as: UTMERESULT (all uppercase, no spaces).
· Send this message to either 55019 or 66019 – both are JAMB’s official service codes.
Step 3 – Ensure sufficient airtime
· The service costs ₦50 (fifty Nigerian Naira).
· This fee will be deducted automatically from your main airtime balance (not from any data or bonus credit).
· So before sending, confirm you have at least ₦50 of regular airtime on that SIM.
Step 4 – Wait for the response
· After sending, wait a few minutes.
· Your result will be delivered directly to you as a text message (SMS) on the same phone.
· The message will show your scores for each subject, usually in a simple format like: “English – 65, Mathematics – 70, Physics – 58, Chemistry – 62”.
Candidates should note that the results are not available on the portal yet or ready for printout.
