in the JAMB board meeting that was held some months ago In 2025 JAMB came up with a conclusion that the requirements for a candidate to be offered admission is mainly based on the cut-off mark and with that let a limited score that is expected from any students and what will be required depending on their choice of institution, be it a university, polytechnic, collage of Education, collage of nursing and so on which will be stated below
150 for Universities,
140 for Colleges of Nursing,
100 for Polytechnics
100Colleges of Education
The above cut-off mark is a draft work and is likely to be amended. In as much as it may be amended the awaited CUT-OFF MARK will still fall under this range.
With this I now believe every 2026JAMB CANDIDATE who have come across this will be able to take the decision that seem uncertainly difficult for some JAMB CANDIDATE.
It is also important to note that this cut-off marks may differ in some universities setting and as a well they set out their different cut-off marks and how it work either by physical screening exercise or post-UTME examination screening process.
