The Joint admission matriculation board (JAMB) has announced the date for the 2026 jamb examination.
What is JAMB?
JAMB is a regulatory body in Nigeria with the sole responsibility of conducting examination for O'level student granting then Access if requirements are met to the tertiary institutions ( Universities) this body conduct a year CBT exam that enables the candidates gain their admissions.
What is the process of registration
JAMB commenced it registration on the 26 and January and this registration will be rounding up on the 28th of February 2026. The registration process involves
1. Generation of profile code: that is sending you NIN (NIN ******) to 55019 or 66019
2. Generation of e-pin
3. Proceeding to a JAMB accredited centres for proper capturing and registration
What is the exam date for 2026 JAMB examination?
According to the brochure released earlier this year by the JAMB authority started that the proposed date for the examination proper is 16 of April 2026. There might be a possibility of some adjustments if necessarily required.
What is mock exam?
Mock is actually a practical lesson to give candidates a clue of what the real JAMB examination is all about. Not that the score in mock examinations are not being recorded by JAMB neither is it accumulated in the candidates JAMB results.
